Southern Illinois Excavators, LLC is owned by Justin May, a third-generation operating engineer. May graduated from IUOE’s Local 318 Apprenticeship in 2014, and served as an instructor at the Training Site for four years before going out on his own.

Justin and his wife, Courtney, have two sons, Easton and Ryder. His lifetime goal has been to own his own business and now to sustain that business for his boys.
